David Antony Keith Cohen (David Cohen) is an Australian citizen based in Willoughby, Australia. He was appointed as the President Commissioner through the Extraordinary GMS dated 6 December 2018.
He earned a Master of Law degree at the University of Sydney in 1984. His professional experience began with joining Allen Allen & Hemsley as a Solicitor (1985-1988), and Partners (1990-2003). Then he continued his career with Nagashima & Ohno as Foreign Lawyer (1988-1990) and switched to joining AMP Limited with the position of General Counsel (2003-2008).
Subsequently, he joined the Commonwealth Bank of Australia by holding various positions such as the Group general Counsel (2008-2011); Group Executive, Human Resource (2011-2012); Group executive, Group Corporate Affairs (2012-2016); Group Risk Officer (2016-2018); and Deputy Chief Executive Officer (2018) before appointed as the Bank’s President Commissioner.
